This weekend we launch in the second half Matthew chapter five & Jesus Sermon on the Mount.  Included is stuff like anger, murder, lust, adultery, divorce, loving your enemies and turning the other cheek.

The Death of Pop & Beauty

This morning has not been easy as both the king of pop & beauty have died.

Both of these people have affected our culture in major ways, both positive and negative.

I pray for their families & their own personal relationships with Jesus.

The one whom they now see & stand before.

The MOST beautiful one --- Jesus!
The true KING --- Jesus!

This is a beautiful photo of a giant American flag in Arizona . The photo is authentic, UN-Touched and was taken on regular Kodak 35mm film. The person who took the Picture couldn't believe the image created by the suns rays.

Fathers Day @ DC

This Fathers Day weekend we will be honoring & praying for all our earthly fathers.  Praying for wisdom, discipline, passion, tenderness and tough love as we accept the great privilege we have to show our children a picture of our heavenly Father. 

This weekend we will also continue our Summer on the Mount series in Matthew 5:17-22.

Jesus Three (3) Years ... Why?

Here is the question that has been on my mind for the past four days.

Why was Jesus public ministry on this earth three years?

I mean why not 4, 5, 6 or 10 years?

And it is any wonder that I see pastors who have been at it 13 or 33 years become a shell of who they once were or even who they were originally intended to be.

I do not have this all thought out ...

But as I wrestle with the multiple demands of ministry and leadership in my life & balance that with who God created me to be ...

I am very curious as to why three (3) years?

This weekend we keep rollin' into week two of our "Summer on the Mount" Bible study.

This weekend we will be in Matthew chapter five where Jesus speaks about us being "salt & light". This is an incredible section of scripture.

Trump National Golf

I felt so like an "Apprentice" contestant this afternoon as I was
treated to a round of golf at Trump National. Pretty amazing as every
