This weekend at DC we continue our series called "Making Life Work".

We will be studying Proverbs & Ephesians as we take an inside look at anger.

What is it?
How did it get in there?
How do I get rid of it?

CAN I GET RID OF IT!?

It is going to be a great weekend of study.

Vince Antonucci @ DC!

This weekend at Discovery we are blessed to have pastor, author, husband, dad and church planter Vince Antonucci with us. 

Vince, just moved his whole family from the East Coast to Las Vegas about 6 weeks ago to launch a brand new church on the Las Vegas Strip.

We are coming alongside Vince and this new church plant with much human & finaincial resources.  My prayer is that in coming weeks many of you from the Discovery body can make some short term trips to help Vince and his team minister and launch this new Vegas church!

Vince, is a powerful communicator of God's Word and I am certain the whole DC community is going to be encouraged & challenged this weekend.

Vince, will also have his wife and kiddos with him at DC so be sure to give em' all some love!

Proverbs 4 Today

Less than a week ago I started a new group on Facebook called "Proverbs 4 Today".  This is simply a collection of people from all around the world who are committed to reading the chapter of Proverbs that coincides with the day we are living.

It already has over 500 people on board, reading and interacting.

Making Life Work - Wk #2

This weekend at Discovery we continue a new series in the book of Proverbs called, "Making Life Work".

Out of all of the books I have read the book of Proverbs in the Bible has shaped my life more than any other. 

The book of Proverbs is not full of theological terms & stuff you need a seminary degree to understand.  It just lays out the truth plain and simple --- here is how life works.

For the second weekend we will pursue the topic of wisdom and discover that wisdom is a path not a door!
